Most personal growth tools like therapy, journaling, and mindset work operate at the level of thought and belief that may perpetuate the disconnection between your mind from your body. SHIFT works at the level of the nervous system where stress patterns and survival energy are actually stored. It isn't a replacement for the work you've already done, it's the embodied layer underneath all of it that makes everything else go deeper.
SHIFT is fully self-paced and includes a suggested schedule to pace your progress slowly. The practices are designed for integrating into real life because doing more can further drive you into overwhelm and burnout. Even 5–20 minutes a few times a week can create meaningful, lasting change over time. Consistency matters but you don't have to do it perfectly. You just have to begin.
SHIFT is designed to complement not replace the therapeutic support you already have. Some therapists have taken it themselves or recommended it to clients as an in-between resource. If you're in active trauma processing, I always encourage you to check in with your provider before starting any new somatic work. Your healing team matters.
